Where next for Plings? …. LA Input Tool

Knowsley Council’s IT Service has developed an application that makes it easy for staff and partners to add events to PLINGS and at the same time any other databases – for example a council website or events calendar.

The application also contains an event feedback facility, which allows administrators to capture and report on feedback received from event participants. Additional functions include the ability to produce valuable analytical data and reports by location, activity type and date, etc.

The application has a comprehensive API (application programming interface), which makes it easy to communicate and share data with other software, and making it easier to add content to the PLINGS database from pretty much anywhere.
