Advice on how add an RSS feed to twitter and A Charity in Gambia

This page was sent directly to this Joomla website by e-mail. With a dedicated e-mail address you can send your articles by e-mail. The subject becomes the title of the page, the body the main article. You can attach images it will be resized with a pop up and you can add documents. This can auto publish or be sent to another e-mail address to approve which will have an 'approve article now' button. You can ad a YouTube video by just adding in  the URL of a video. See bottom of this article.

My work at cf10ten Ltd is to share best methods of communications on the web using Joomla websites and videos.

The most important aspect of communications is to give as many people access to your content. Its good to add 'share' on you website but even better to get it to post to your Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn. You will see the bottom of articles on this site an option to share the article by clicking on relevant social network button. Another way is to take the RSS feed from your favourite section of this site or any other and get it to publish to your twitter and / or facebook and/ or LinkedIn page.

To do this take the RSS feed for example the CHYPS news feed > http://www.chyps.org.uk/news/members-news1?format=feed&type=rss

Go to http://twitterfeed.com/   Twitterfeed and create an account.

Click on create new feed > add feed name and RSS feed > http://www.chyps.org.uk/news/members-news1?format=feed&type=rss

Do a quick test - wow it works *smile*

Go to continue to step 2

Choose available service like twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn

Create service > all done

That feed will now appear in your social network feed.
